Through TurnHere.com, Mr. Inman has harnessed the rampant consumer acceptance of Internet video technology and is tapping a rich vein of new and creative video producers. Mr. Inman has been a visiting fellow at the UC Berkeley School of Journalism, lecturer at the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business and sits on the BRIDGE Housing Board of Directors.
William R. Hearst III joined the venture capital firm of Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, as a managing partner in 1995. Today, he continues his work with KPCB as a limited partner, and sits on the boards of Applied Minds and RGB Networks. Hearst remains an active investor with a particular interest in the technology and media sector. In addition to his KPCB portfolio boards, he also sits on the boards of The Hearst Corporation, Hearst-Argyle Television and Fora.tv. Hearst became a director of The Hearst Corporation in 1979. He has served on the board of trustees of the Hearst Foundation since 1993. In 2003, Hearst was named President of the Foundation. In addition, he is an active trustee on several not-for-profit boards, including the California Academy of Sciences, Carnegie Institution of Washington, Mathematical Sciences Research Institute, San Francisco Film Society, The Hamlin School, and Grace Cathedral of San Francisco. Will Hearst was editor and publisher of the San Francisco Examiner from 1984 until 1995. He is a 1972 graduate of Harvard University, holding an AB degree in Mathematics.
